SPLICE MATERIAL

Universal Splice Materials are specially designed and formulated to yield maximum bond and adhesion to all compounds and belt carcasses, including NR, SBR, BR, IR, CIIR, NBR and blend’s of polymers such as NR/SBR. Factory constructed from the same rubber stocks as our belt lines, Splice Kits are manufactured and stocked under strict laboratory control, dated, and kept under “cool room” temperatures to ensure near or greater adhesions than original belt produced from our factories.

Splice Kits are individually prepared at time of order and “Factory Built” to ensure both freshness and expediency with your order. Appropriate cover stocks and gums are matched along with correct cements in our Universal series: Universal Vulcanizing Cement (UVC) SBR Based & Universal Vulcanizing Cement Special (UVC-S) for compounds containing NBR. Each kit also contains the appropriate solvent & includes a special fabric primer which is designed to re-activate former textile coats and dips when the carcass is over buffed from stripping or old from age.
